Prince George’s County, MD – In the wake of the groundbreaking House v. NCAA settlement, Maryland Delegate Denise Roberts (District 25) will launch Hustle HQ, the first event in the region to break down what this decision means for student-athletes, their families, and the future of college sports at Dr. Henry A. Wise, Jr. High School in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
Set for June 12, 2025, Hustle HQ will bring together athletes, parents, legal experts, and entrepreneurs to address the new landscape of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), collectives, and direct revenue sharing. As college athletics enters a new financial era, this event serves as a launchpad for those seeking real understanding and real opportunity.
“This isn’t just a workshop—it’s a wake-up call,” said Delegate Denise Roberts, event founder. “Our students cannot afford for us to wait. We’re giving families the tools to navigate the new rules, build generational wealth, and protect their student-athlete’s future now.”
Participants will have access to:
Expert-led sessions on NIL compliance and branding
Legal guidance on collective bargaining and eligibility
Financial literacy and mindset training
Networking with mentors and professionals across sports and business
With national headlines now focused on revenue-sharing for college athletes, Hustle HQ is the first local event offering an accessible, empowering space for real education and action.
